BASIC ~ $130.00 Chapter Sample, Layout $1.75/page
(Basic = Fiction with straight text, no subheads, bullets, charts or images, footnotes etc…)
- First, I design an interior sample chapter of your book. This will establish the fonts, line spacing, headers, chapter pages for the rest of your book. Upon approval I will layout the rest.
- I optimize font style, size, letter and word spacing, and paragraph width so they work together to create a most interesting and enjoyable reading experience.
- Upon completion the first $20 editing changes are free (extra edits are charged at $30/hr)
- Finally, a print-ready PDF created in Adobe Acrobat Pro using the PDF/X-1a 2001 standard (requested or required by most printers and publishers)
COMPLEX WITH TEXT ~ Layout: $2.40-$3.50/Page, Design Sample: $150.00
(Nonfiction with bullets, numbering, subheadings, endnotes or footnotes and up to 20 images)
- A custom designed interior sample is created that compliments & continues the theme of your cover design and forms the framework for the rest of your book.
- 20 editing changes upon completion (extra edits will be charged at $30/hr)
- Print-ready PDF created in Adobe Acrobat Pro using the PDF/X-1a 2001 standard (requested or required by most printers and publishers)
COMPLEX WITH IMAGES ~ $8.00-$10.00/page
- Each page will be given extensive design treatment to bring out part of a story (as with a picture book), or a recipe (cook book), or photography in a photography book. Otherwise, the same as above applies.
